Answers From Your Wardrobe Valet & Local Dry Cleaners Located In San Rafael & Ross


  • What is dry cleaning?

    Dry cleaning is a science. The cleaning method we use has the absolute best end result. Notably, a deep, rich clean that will help extend the life cycle of your garments. We use an organic, biodegradable, proven skin-friendly product. Visit A Green Education page for more details.

  • Why do clothes need to be dry cleaned vs. laundered?

    Dry cleaning is science-driven. The solution has been crafted for a deep, rich clean with significant impact on stains, specifically non-water-soluble nuisances such as oil, wine, coffee, grease, and more.

    Laundry is detergent-driven, crafted with quite a bit of chemistry involved. The detergents we use work extraordinarily well, and their primarily goal is removal of dirt, soil, and stains while keeping your darks dark and whites white (without any fading). We also make the choice of using an organic, hypoallergenic, unscented product.

  • Can I bring my clothes into the store & have them delivered?

    Yes, absolutely! When you come in please instruct our staff that you would like your items delivered. We will confirm delivery date on the spot. You can be billed on delivery when we establish an account for you, or you can pay in advance. Either way, an itemized bill will be provided.

  • What are my pickup & delivery days?

    You have a choice depending on if you are a Routine, Green or On-Demand Valet client. See valet schedules here or below. Routine Valet – We come every Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Saturday (pickup & deliver on respective days).

    Green Valet – We come to pick up and deliver once a week on the day you set. It is a green choice by virtue of making weekly stops and cleaning in bulk, making it more economical. That said, we extend a 10% discount for Green Valet clients. Bi-weekly is also an option, as is monthly.

  • How do I book/schedule a pick-up and/or delivery?

    Call or email us! If you email, we will quickly reply with a message along with a pick-up time and delivery date. We have a team who manages this and their mission is promptness and efficiency.

  • When is the cut-off for on-demand service?

    We request that you schedule a pickup prior to 11:00 AM Monday – Friday. Although, that is not set in stone. Please reach out to us and we will strive as we always do to make whatever it is you require happen!

  • What if I miss my valet?

    +

    If you missed your valet, do not worry! We know it happens. Reach out to us and we will either send the valet back if available or we will reschedule. Please note that we will make any and all accommodations to get your orders back to you expeditiously in the event you missed your valet.

  • What are finished linens?

    Sheets and bed linens that are cleaned and pressed instead of washed and hand-folded. The product is truly luxurious, on par with any 5-star hotel. This is our most beloved white glove service with our clients. Your first set is on the house!

  • How do you handle couture garments?

    Couture items are truly the gems of your wardrobe. These pieces are handled solely by the owners, who have 60+ years of combined experience.

  • What are the prices?

  • How do I get charged?

    When on-boarding with our management team, we will establish an account for you. As a compliment to that, we will also set a preferred payment card (credit or debit). On delivery you will get an itemized bill that is completely automated! The billing cycle is weekly.

  • What if I do not like the quality?

    We strive to set the standard of superior quality. We feel we set and continue to improve the industry standard. However, there is a human element to what we do. With that said, if the quality is not up to your standard, our management team will rectify and collaborate with you until we are confident our mutual expectations are met.

  • Can I have alterations done?

    Yes, absolutely! We have an in-house seamstress located in Ross. Please reach out to us with any questions. Additionally, feel free to send us photos to collaborate with our management team of what you would like done. Note, alterations typically take 1 week (7 days) from the time we have received the item or items.

  • Do you have discounts?

    Yes, we send exclusive and regular discounts to our valet clients via email. Stay tuned! Additionally, we have a Green Valet where we reward our clients with a 10% discount for going green.

  • Do you work with businesses?

    Yes, we have a variety of business relationships that range from small businesses and local offices to corporate clients. Please reach out to our management team for more information.

  • How do you wash & fold my clothes?

    We use a hypoallergenic, unscented luxury soap that has proven cleaning power. This is the best product on the market to get the clean, fresh garments you need and want. Here is our process:

    • We do the sorting by separating darks, lights, and whites. No need for you to do so beforehand!
    • We then wash items exclusively per client. Your clothing is not commingled with other clients’ garments.

  • Do you have hypoallergenic products?

    Yes, our laundry detergent is hypoallergenic. Additionally, our dry cleaning solution is proven to be skin-friendly.

  • What area do you service?

    We service Marin County, including the communities of San Rafael, Ross, Novato, Corte Madera, Larkspur, and Kentfield.

  • Do you charge extra for next day?

    +

    We do not add a surcharge for expedited delivery. However, we do request that the minimum delivery is $30.00 for On-Demand next day service.

  • Do you clean athletic gear?

    +

    Yes we do! Yoga pants, Under Armour, Nike, uniforms; you name it, we clean it. All can be hang dried via special request.

  • Do you clean leather?

    +

    Absolutely! They are your closet warriors and signature fashion pieces. We typically work via quote on leather items. Please call, email, or snap a photo and send it to our team for an estimate.

  • What can water repelling do for me?

    +

    Water repelling can be a great value for your garments. It gives them an extra layer to fight off liquids and stains.

    Insider tip gentleman: water repel your ties, as the stains will not “stick.” In fact, some liquids will bead up and just roll right off!

  • I have an heirloom. Can you handle it?

    Yes we can! We are a comprehensive service with a wealth of experience. Please reach out to our team to discuss your specific and individual need.

  • Do you preserve wedding gowns?

    Yes! All gowns are solely handled by our ownership team. Cleaned, boxed, and preserved using acid free paper, which is a museum quality method. Your gown will last a lifetime and it is a great way to create a legacy, and perhaps pass the torch. We are happy to answer any questions you have.
